TDEMI® Mobile+ series

The new TDEMI Mobile+ (TDEMI M+) receiver series of GAUSS INSTRUMENTS is a very compact and robust designed instrument for optimum mobility and outdoor use as well as on developers workbench in your lab. It provides a vast variety of functionalities. The TDEMI M+ receiver series is equipped with a +12V supply - so it can be easily used for on-board testing, e. g. in vehicles or aircrafts and so on. By its integrated touch-sensitive and high resolution screen and the embedded PC the TDEMI M+ is a fully stand-alone instrument independent from any control or host or display unit e. g. as a PC or laptop. Thus it provides even more flexibility for your emission measurements. Furthermore the instrument can be powered by a battery pack (Option BAT-UG) making it even more flexible and easy to carry it around without any need of an external power supply. Especially designed for your todays challenging pre-certification tasks the TDEMI M+ provides the absolutely unrivaled advantages in speed and performance of the well known and market approved GAUSS INSTRUMENTS time-domain and RF technology. Thus, your pre-certification measurements and investigations can be performed up to 16000 times faster than by conventional receivers. The instruments of the TDEMI M+ receiver series are available for the frequency ranges up to 1 GHz, 3 GHz, 6 GHz or 7 GHz starting from 9 kHz each. Additionally these blazing fast measurements can be carried out even starting from 10 Hz optionally (Option MIL/DO-UG).

The fully gapless real-time analysis bandwidth of 225 MHz (Option RTEMI225-UG) of the weighted spectrogram mode makes the TDEMI M+ series unique in the instrumentation market for pre-certification and provides a perfect tool for real-time EMC debugging during your product development and pre-certification testing. It supports the user in detecting, localizing, observing, and analyzing emissions as well as in troubleshooting and optimizing circuits, components, sub-systems, and/or entire systems. The receivers of the TDEMI M+ series can be applied for EMC testing according to CISPR, MIL461 and DO160 standards or any related standards. By performing a measurement at several thousands of frequency points at once the TDEMI M+ series allows to reduce your overall test time by up to a factor of 16000 in comparison to traditional superheterodyn based receivers and thus enabling you a shorter time to market of your products. At the same time highly reliable and reproducible test results with reduced measurement uncertainty by not missing any disturbance or emission, e. g. intermittent or even single events ensure a very good correlation with your external certification lab. This saves you costs for additional certification tests and makes the TDEMI M+ the most cost effective solution for your product development and pre-certification. Your measurements can be fully automated and all measurement data are saved, documented and also evaluated automatically by the report generator (Option RG-UG). An AM/FM audio-demodulator (Option DM-UG) as well as an integrated real-time spectrum analyzer (Option RTSPA-UG) are also available.

The instruments of the TDEMI Mobile+ series are available in the following different frequency ranges and can be configured also with different options according to your specific application and needs:

  • TDEMI M1+ (10 Hz – 1 GHz, with Opt. MIL/DO-UG, upgradeable to 3 GHz, 6 GHz and 7 GHz resp.)
  • TDEMI M3+ (10 Hz – 3 GHz, with Opt. MIL/DO-UG, upgradeable to 6 GHz and 7 GHz)
  • TDEMI M6+ (10 Hz – 6 GHz, with Opt. MIL/DO-UG, upgradeable to 7 GHz)
  • TDEMI M7+ (10 Hz – 7 GHz, with Opt. MIL/DO-UG)
